Definitely a great place to kill time in a positive way for shoppers and non-shoppers. The place has plenty of upmarket shops as well as those that cater to the mass market. Lots of eateries, for meat lovers as well as for vegetarians.
This mall has almost everything in place, such as restaurants, food stalls, cafes, cinema, department store and retails, sporting goods, electronics goods, kids playgrounds, fitness center, Garuda Indonesia airline ticketing office, and ample of parking spaces.

If you are visiting Makassar for holiday or business trip, this mall is highly recommended for everyone to visit. The mall is huge and it has indoor themed-park also a lot of retail stores of you would like to do a little shopping.
There were some great local vendors on the ground floor, with clothes they had made themselves. There were also a couple of vintage clothes stalls, which was cool. There’s a huge batik store upstairs. There are chain stores too.

There are a few hotels within walking distance to the Trans Studio Makassar such as The Rinra hotel, The Colonial hotel, Gammara hotel, and Imperial Arya Duta hotel --they all are being considered as high-end hotels. For another mile, you can find plenty of mid-ranged to low cost hotels or home stays such as Quality plaza hotel, aerotel smile hotel, pod hotel, losari beach hotel, and D'Bugis Ocean hotel. I'd suggest be familiarized with the inner city bus routes because it will eventually take you to Trans Studio. Or use a reputable taxi company, as long as you will be staying around Losari Beach area, the fare would not be too bad
