History of how the name Surabaya came about relived in this monument. Suro means shark and boyo means crocodile. Eternal battle between shark and crocodile, good vs bad. Amazing stuff

This monument is situated not far from the main entrance of the zoo. It is surrounded by nice gardens and great to photograph. Deserves a 10 minute stop in your schedule.
