This was my first time arrived at this mosque. The architecture its really amaze me..with classic and originally Java design, make us pray in very peaceful stated. There is no doubtful that if you are traveller, especially moeslem, you must pray on this mosque.

Masjid Agung Semarang has an amazing and interesting architecture. If you are going up to the tower, you can see Semarang landscape. Hopefully they will improve the cleanliness of this beautiful mosque.

Actually I visited this mosque around 2014 or 2015, but I can't choose that year for making this review. This is the unforgetable mosque I've ever visited. I really really miss that moment. I'll go to there again, someday.

No, I think you should use taxi. Public transportation not recommended. It will be very complicated. it easier and also not expensive using taxi with argometer

it's about 5km from port to Masjid. The temperature is quite hot, sometimes almost 35 C. So its your decision whether you want to take a walk or get a ride
