Gedung sate, is a nickname that translates literally from Indonesian to 'satay building', which is a reference to the shape of the building's central pinnacle - which resemble the shape of one of the Indonesian traditional dish called satay.

We were stopped by the security guard, said this is the government office building and not open to public. Only able take photo from outside.

Gedung sate is a public interest, if you are a lover of art and design this Dutch classic is must to do things while in Bandung, nice and clean lot of things to see around.

I think they didn't charge us. Just ask for entry visit to security officer there. On the weekdays, the building used by Government Officials.
