Go to this place if you are looking for a fun cultural activity. Awesome for kids. There's Balinese dancing, wood carving, watermelon carving and painting. The dancing was super fun. Its a chilled out relaxed space with nice staff. Food and drinks are also available

More than just a library and community centre, also has a cafe, language classes and is the place to check out if staying in Ubud for more than a day or two

Took my 8yr old daughter here for a painting lesson and she loved it. Library is on Facebook and sessions for art, music, food carving can be easily arranged even at short notice via messenger.

Great if you travel with small kids. Build your own kite and fly with it on the football field. Hard to find. Entrance is on the football fields long side, on the middle.

Absolutely fabulous wood carving course here at the library. You can be shown the techniques of wood carving by a master carver. What better thing to do in Bali but learn a traditional art and support a local library. And you can borrow a book...More

I didn't go to the library but assisted to the frog dance performed in support to the project. One of the best possible show in Ubud, talented dancers and much less run down than the Ubud Palace one. A not to be missed performance.

I did the gamalang lesson with my girlfriend and we had such a good time. By the end if the hour long lesson we had played a few songs. A meal and a drink is included in the price.
