Amazing spot in the center of Ubud. It’s a paradise. Small class. We tried Hatha Flow and wasn’t a good experience: very difficult to understand and it wasn’t flow.More

Dear MatGra90, Thanks for the complimentary remarks about our beautiful yoga spaces. They are so natural that they immediately relax you and put you in the ideal mood for yoga. People, especially beginners, appreciate our smaller class sizes compared to other yoga studios. It was...More

Firstly l want to say the staff at the Spa and the instructor were just delightful. So why the negativity? Well the yoga centre leads down into a steep ravine, to a place l am sure gets very little sun. As a result what it...More

Yoga was wonderful in an amazing relaxing location. The studio is in amongst rainforest water and roots and plants as you walk to it. The teacher Astri was gentle and very good at explaining what to do without pressure. I loved the class, intense but...More

Astri is one of our dedicated team of Balinese yoga teachers and she will be thrilled to hear your feedback, which we will pass directly to her. Our small class yoga, located riverside in a airy shala, is very conducive to meditative yoga, so we're...More

I got to Taksu after trying different Yoga studios in Ubud and it quickly became one of my favorite spots for mindful yoga sessions. The small classes size (I think I never saw more than four people in a class) and the beautiful yoga shala...More

It's so gratifying to hear of your experience. The small class yoga at Taksu is quite unique in Ubud, where large yoga centers tend to be the norm. At Taksu, we designed our yoga shala to be open on three sides to the river valley,...More

I stumbled on Taksu yoga by chance as most tourists typically flow to the other more prominent yoga studios. Firstly, I absolutely loved their teachers. The yoga classes are nothing like what you would encounter in other studios. They incorporate various breathing techniques into the...More

Thank you! Our yoga classes are designed to offer an alternative to the larger studios in town and we are delighted you enjoyed the personal attention, privacy and gorgeous views from our discreet yoga shala, that overlooks the river. Have you considered a class package?...More

Small class of 5 doing dynamic yoga with Astri. Tough work but rewarding. Astri not over pushy to do things, with a calm manner. Cheaper than yoga barn and 30 minute longer class. Free juic included. Lovely setting. Would recommend.

The yoga is beautiful here (as are the spa treatments and the restaurants). What I like the best about the yoga classes is that the teachers are Balinese. All yoga teachers in Bali are great but when I go to Bali I prefer Balinese teachers.
