The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

Lovely walk with views of the valley, forest and streams. The walk can be quite long so wear comfortable shoes, sunblock, cap and lots of water. The entrance is just outside the city centre.

Defo recommend this walk. Lovely views across the valley and the paddy fields. Take water and sensible shoes though. Lovely cafes at the top for a coconut drink and fresh smoothies. Go early

Wish we had taken more time to walk more of this, but really enjoyed what we saw. A bit cooler as well when you get higher up.

I can't see any danger with it. There are plenty of runners up that early to avoid the morning heat anyway!
