Overview

The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

Totally worth your time if you enjoy Scenery. Nice morning walk. Free! We did this in replace of one of the bigger rice fields. Easy to get to if you are staying in Ubud. Stopped for a coconut and beautiful art as we passed through...More

We walked back into UBUD after visiting a spa down the walk. And it was so beautiful. I don’t think either of us expected the amazing views we got to see.

It’s a nice walk or a lot of runners around. Great to see in the morning or around the sunset. Wasn’t that crowded on a late morning.

We went for an early morning walk. Entry is free. Many people come here for a run or a jog or just simply a nice walk. Its not too crowded (atleast it wasn't at 7am). You can get your dog for a walk as well....More

This location is perfect if you want to move away from the crowded Ubud. Be sure to have some water with you.

On a very hot, humid day it was a bit of challenge for a 63 year old, but not terrible. Karsa Spa at the top of the walk was very lovely, but make a reservation first.

Was nice but the ratings on here are a bit over the top. I give 3 stars. Not difficult, but hot obviously. Not very taxing. Better views to be had.

With a short and enjoyable walk, you can be in a wonderful countryside setting surrounded by terraced rice fields and nice low priced cafes to enjoy them. This is a quiet, enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Be aware of the heat of the sun.

Driving up to Karsa Spa is an option, but walking the ridge path from the south is the most scenic.

Ubud isn't a major western shopping centre however there are plenty of shops selling branded clothing. Unsure about electronics.
