The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

It is 2km walk one way. There are lots of ups and downs but the pathway is paved in most instance except at the start where it can be slightly slippery when it rains. We stopped at the cafe just before the rice terrace for...More

We happened across this walk almost by accident while on our way to the day spay. Glad we found it. Nice views along a path shared by tourists and locals. Not a particularly demanding walk and pretty straightforward to find the beginning of the path.

This is a great way to start your exploring of what Ubud has to offer, not a difficult walk but does require good footwear and a reasonable level of fitness. Earlier in the morning is recommended as it does get hot. The walk is approximately...More

Even though the idea of walking in uphill to rice plantations may sound something remote, there's no reason to worry about the ridge walk. It starts right at the center of Ubud, and the trail has less than 3 kilometers, and in the end you...More

We took this super chill walk to the rice patties very close to downtown Ubud (we walked to the market afterwards). After a walk in incredible lush forest areas along a pretty winding path, you get to some shops selling art (apparently it is an...More

Have been to Bali twice and enjoyed this walk both times. You just duck between buildings in Ubud and within minutes you are in the rice paddies enjoying some of the most magnificent views in the world. Astoundingly there are little cafe's and shops along...More

Beautiful walk and view! Really enjoyed this walk. Almost no litter very rare to see in Bali. Make sure to stop in the lovely art shops which have amazing paintings and painted eggs. The sunset was great too! Highly recommended!
