Overview

The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

We started at around 7.30am and walked approximately 3km to the start of the walk from our hotel, and by then it was already starting to get hot. So I recommend starting as early as possible. The walk itself is easy and quite pleasant, with...More

Always come to this place for jogging and enjoy the sunrise in the morning. Some people also come to this place for photoshoot or prewedding

This app claims 'no availability' when I query about 1 person; but it's perfectly happy to accommodate 3 persons.... sick!

Better to go here early in the morning to avoid sun heat and to get fresher air. The view is great! Also good for photography spot. Recommended to visit when you’re in ubud.

Another great spot to explore while in Ubud. We started the walk from Karsa cafe end and headed into towards the town center. Enjoy the scenery and the natural beauty of Ubud.

If you’re staying in Ubud then this walk is definitely worthwhile as you take in some nice views along the way. If you’re not staying in Ubud I wouldn’t come here especially as there’s nothing that special about it.

Scenic walk and guess what.. it comes at no cost! One of the spots in Ubud where you can just take a long walk amidst nature.. an early morning walk may be advisable to beat the crowd as it tends to get too crowded towards...More

Best visited at dawn or towards sunset, can walk to the end for more terraces, otherwise it is a short ridge walk with grasses around the roller coaster

Unsure about parking as we walked there but I’m sure there would be somewhere to park a bike. We walked about 2km and didn’t see the swing so assume it was further along than that

There is a school somewhere next to entrance. Our driver parked his van there and I guess you can do the same. We only walked for a short distance then we stopped.

Driving up to Karsa Spa is an option, but walking the ridge path from the south is the most scenic.
