Definitely worth getting up early and making the trek up there. Could be a challenge for some fitness levels so worth researching if not sure but for those who are fine then it is a must!

Good price. Signed up for the sunrise trekking to Mount Batur. Place was packed with tourists but it wasn't too difficult to make the trip. Sunrise views are incredible and absolutely worth it.

Do not recommend! The group was too large ~32 people. The bus was 30 minutes late for the pick up, which means that you'll wait at 2am for 30 minutes missing on sleep. The ascent was too slow as the guides needed numerous smoke breaks....More
