The beaches in Bali are lovely but refuse washes up (or is dropped) and its raked up and buried in the sand - small changes are underway but environmental improvement is needed.

Has a nice outlook but the water can be a bit murkey. Markets here are worth a visit. Quite a few restaurants along the beach.

Great for walking and shopping in many beach markets. Sea is not deep, good for family's with children. A lot of trees make a good shadow, many caffes and beach restaurants on the road.

Beach is good , can swim between boats , the locas go there especially on a Sunday morning to swim and offer their prayers , is quite friendly and great way to relax

Watch the local tide charts to take advantage of a King Tide (1.5 -2m) and the water is deep and flat like a pool. Locals bathe daily at sunrise, or have ceremonial offerings, whilst business owners sweep the beach clean. Many great shops and cafes...More

Sindhu beach is a great beach for families. Because a reef surrounds Sanur its not deep at hightide with no rough surf and low tide good for kids to explore the lowtide pools
