Fly on a go to Thailand. The water is dirty and there is garbage on the beach. They try to clean up but more just washes up throughout the day. Bali is literally the garbage bin of Indonesia.

It's not expensive, will probably cost around $15 AUD (or $15 Singapore dollars). Ask them to use the meter and not an agreed upon price, it will be cheaper. Make sure you also ask to take the toll road, it's MUCH faster and will only cost about an extra $2. When we took the bluebird taxi from Kuta to Mengiat it only took around 25 minutes but that will depend upon the time of day and traffic around Kuta.
