    Not for swimming
The colors of the water were truly amazing; however, it was far from ideal for swimming due to the large waves and steep entrance. Despite this, watching the surfers was quite entertaining. Additionally, the derelict buildings situated behind the beach detracted from its overall appeal. Nevertheless, parking was free, provided a donation was made. From my personal experience, I would not recommend a revisit.

Nice looking beach, but beware of rocks in the water.
At high tide the waves are strong and it is hard to surf for a beginner. At low tide it's good to learn and you can get a local instructor there. Don't expect any great details from him, but he'll tell you which wave to catch and point out the rocks in the water. The sunsets are beautiful. No calm swimming here. There's one warung and sunbeds with umbrellas you can rent. Great spots for pictures.

    Beachy vibes
South Bali is all about beach hopping. U can cover the beaches on d west in a day and on the east/south the next day. Each of them 15 mins away from each other. Make sure to visit the popular ones atleast. Dreamland is one of them. Picturesque and beautiful We spent an hour just lazying here

Lovely white sand surf beach…very popular …lots of learner surfers, waves aren’t too big but good for learning and up to intermediate (while we were there anyway)…there are flags to swim between but I didn’t notice any sort of life guard duty going on…..walk down a path from the road, parking for motorbikes, there is a small charge to park bike…we stayed at klapa resort which is above the beach and walk down stairs to beach.some small shops along path to beach, selling usual touristy stuff.beach chair and umbrella are 100,000idr pp….free shade by the cliff…beach club above is 100,000 idr pp which is a credit towards food or drink and you can go down to beach and come back up to swim in infinity pool and lie on comfy lounger, and spectacular view.beach is lovely but nothing you wouldnt get anywhere in nz or Aussie

My Gojek moto dropped me off on the narrow pathway where bikes park. No car parking here. Entry is 5k per person. The beach itself is short and does not provide that much of a sand area shared with rocky sections.
More popular with surfers. Does get washed up trash. Not a great beach for swimming with the steep incline of the sand in to the water. I would consider other ootions for a day out.

Dreamland beach also called New Kuta actually located far from original Kuta beach, it took 45 minutes to get there by taxi. Beautiful view, blue water, but i was bit scary to swim here as waves were too big, on my own opinion.

More of a place where locals hang out to surf. The waves are too big and rocxky, and not a good place for swimming especially for amateur swimmers. Good place to watch the sunset.
