As gardeners we decided to visit this garden yesterday...and what a surprise. So many glorious orchids. We were greeted by Wayan an enthusiastic employee who guided us around , he informed us on all the botanical names, care and cultivation of each orchid. He was amazing. He even showed me how to get the best photos from my camera. We... More

As an orchid lover it was a must see. The variety is not huge, but it is beautifully landscaped. My friend who is not too familiar with orchids was blown away by to multitude of orchids, different species and colors. At the exit they have a little shop where you can buy kaatjies (baby orchids) in flasks to take home.... More

A must for gardeners but in Dec not many of the orchids were in flower however it was a lovely, cool, lush garden with lizards and frogs and of course the welcome drink. Free guide was very good. There is a small cafe. 100,000 R to enter per person.

Entry fee is Rip off. It shouldn't be more than IDR50000. Not many orchid. I feel Denpasar Air port has more orchid to see in free than here. Waste of Money. Staffs are friendly that's why 2 star.

Not much to see at this attraction. Hotels have better flower gardens. The orchid garden in Taiwan airport was better. Use your time for better sight seeing adventures.

Recently visited the gardens. I do think it depends on the time of year to how many are in bloom but even though it's probably not the best time of year in march, there were still plenty to look at. Some of the most beautiful and vibrant colours. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips and... More

My wife and I were a little surprised at the entry fee of Rp50,000 each which we thought was quite expensive by local standards. Our guide was very obliging and he spoke very good English. There are some very interesting examples of orchids set in tranquil gardens, but beware, there is a fee to have a photo taken with a lady... Quite expensive entrance fee...looks like a very common orchid garden...vendor tried to lure you for photo shoot with a lady dressed in Balinese clothing, then will ask you to pay for the framed photo for another 100K rupiah...
