A quaint temple and has not yet become a tourist nightmare or has got commercialized. The temple is dedicated to Devi Sati.

It is temple with history of Parvati- Wife of Lord Shiva attached to it. We had an opportunity to track of 7 km to the temple. It is normally crowded. It has very nice scenery around.

We trekked from the Ananda Resort tot the temple - steeper than we thought. However the winding path through villages is beautiful and the views are spectacular. the temple is small, has a great history and story to it.

The Kunja Puri temple is located on a hill top and provides an excellent view of the Doon valley. It has a very calming environment as there are no crowds of people jostling you as there are in most temples in the plains of India.
