It is an ancient temple of lord shani dev. Very interesting story of lord krishna with lord shanidev is attached herewith. It is saying that whoever visit this Shani-temple get freed from all trouble by Lord shani.

This is a very famous Shani temple. people from near places offer their prayers on saturday and it is very auspicious.

I am actually speechless describing about Kokilavan ! Lord Shani actually looks very happy and seems like he is also one of the Brijvasis who is constantly chanting Radhe Radhe

Went there for the first time. for believers it is a very important and significant place. The upgradation work of approach road is going on and it will make the drive even better.

The temple is open throughout the night. People usually reach friday night and do parikrama of 4 km and then darshan.
