Set in the village of Konerirajapuram, 30min drive from Kumbakonam, this ancient temple of Umamaheswarar has the famous abode of Lord Nataraja and Sivakamasundari amman. The idols have near real life features and are swayambu forms with interesting legend behind their formation.

in this temple,the main deity is uma maheswarar.the linga is nearly 4 feet to 5 feet.the wonder here is the vilwa tree has 13 leaves in each stem.
