Well maintained, clean, peaceful place. You can see the Mt. Kanchenjunga from the Monastery. Ancient things are also kept in this Monastery.

Extremely peaceful place. Just loved spending time here. You dont get any food around the place by the place was serene. I would recommend this place to everyone who like to go to a peaceful place and just relax.

The Pemayangtse monastery is said to be one of the oldest one on Sikkim. You feel spiritual and such calmness as you enter the monastery.

A nominal fee of Rs. 20 will allow you to have a look at the beautiful treasures this monastery houses. The view from the monastery itself is also captivating. Pictures are allowed in the monastery compound but not inside. There are several notices put up...More

The intricate 7 tiered wooden sculpture of Rinpoche's Paradise on the top floor took 5 years to make. Worth seeing. Also the students reciting the scriptures in halls on 2nd floor is also amazing.Worth visiting

It's a small monastery in the outskirts of Pelling. Abode of peace. The voice of the monks chanting in the background of drums and bells is still lingering in my ears. You can view Rabdentse ruins also from here.

beautiful gompa with beautiful disciples all over reciting Buddhist chants.You can see the lama trainees practicing martial arts in afternoon.One of the must see place during visit to Pelling. Very beautifully build and maintained with all natural surrounding intact
