The museum is located inside the palace on the banks of the lake. The museum is worth the visit and offers insight into history.

This museaum is a great depiction of the heroic tales of Maharana pratap in Haldighati. The statute at the entrance are great piece of art work. The visual effects inside are great. The journey to Udaipur is complete when you visit this place

The museum has tried to recreate some of the most important milestones in the life of Maharana Pratap in various formats, including a simulated audio-visual on the Battle of Haldighati where this famous Rajput king took on the forces of the Mugal Emperor Akbar.

If you are interested in the history of Maharana's and batlles then this museum is worth a visit. There is a lot of information about the Battle of Haldighati, fought in 1576 between Maharana Pratap and Akbar's forces.

There is a movie on Maharana Pratap and there's a museum of his horse, Chetak. this place is a good visit for school going kids

This is very nice and well maintained museum of rana pratap. Here 4-5 audio tour you can learn about life of maharan pratap. Also his some of the things(swords, other war instruments) are in display. Rs. 100 is entry fee and very good maintained place.

This could be a good learning experience for the kids. There is a lot to see and experience in this place and the Chetak statue is at a beautiful peak of a hill which overlooks the entire city.

We had a car and I think it took 1.5-2.0 hours driving back to Udaipur. If you are interested in history- do visit this place. I think the entry fee was Rs 100 perhaps. We were impressed with the fact that one man's vision... More
