As this was a 'don't miss' in the Lonely Planet guide I felt I must go. Having visited the stunning city palace complex I was sure to be in for a treat. Very underwhelming, both the crystal gallery and the Durbar Hall. Crystal Gallery surprisingly...More

If you have immense love for crystals you should visit the gallery, otherwise give it a miss. The entry fees are high and the gallery has a collection of crystal chandeliers, photographs, trophies, dinner set, cutlery and awards and honors bestowed upon the royal family....More

Sure they have chandeliers, beds, tables, chairs and lounges made of crystal but unless you are a crystal collector so what. I thought it was not worth the cost of admission.

I have been to quite a few galleries across the world but none better than this. While it is located only on a single floor, the artifacts kept inside are beyond imagination. It includes various chandeliers, sofas, beds, vases and many other items made of...More

The chandeliers are fantastic. But they are so dirty there was no reflection from them. There could have been a room full of rainbows. It would have been magical. I would love to see it if and when they clean the crystals. It was interesting...More

Ok I get that crystal tables, lights, etc and some of it is good but gets quite repetitive and then you get odd things like golf trophies, placques from businesses, etc. The price is extortionate compared to other historical sites.

I had to climb one floor by staircase. I was not offered a lift. I don't think wheel chair can be used. I hope this helps.

They accept both cash and card. THe entrance fee is minimal if you do not take a guided tour however I would strongly advise an audio tour which costs slightly more but absolutely worth evrry penny spent.
