A fantastic insight to local life: bustling, intense; smells, sights - the lot. Go by tuk-tuk for the ride of your life!

It really is a colourful place with lovely smells. Total chaos but seems to work. It seemed to us that you could buy anything at this Market. It covers a large area with the Clock Tower at the centre. Well worth a visit.

The markets are always teeming with people and this one was no exception. What was missing, were the cows, which are kept away ! Something new for me in India. Great atmosphere. People watching superb. Just walk and embrace the experience. You won't get lost.

This is the market for locals. Hence you need to bargain as a tourist. Lot of handicrafts, traditional stuff available here. This closes by 6 - 6:30 PM hence be here early to shop. Also, quite a few eateries here available.
