Maharaja's Fort is a section of the Jaisalmer Fort. It has been converted in to a museum and is well preserved. An interesting peep in to the lives of the royals.

It's a small palace. I got the tour with headset and can't remember any of it now. There are great views from the top, and there's a part between buildings when you're outside and bats are hanging down. A lot of them.

I would allow 1 to 2 hours, and wander around on your own or get an audio guide or pay a guide to take you around - whichever you prefer.
