In the North of Aurangabad City just behind the Dakkhan ka Taj Bibi ka Maqbara the caves are divided in two parts East and West wing very beautifully carved also you can have the Airial/Bird eye view of the city from the caves.

I visited in May it was very hot and I would suggest a very early start. I paid for a guide rp1600 (AUD31) which was worth it as s number of caves are unfinished and uninteresting so the guide makes sure you see the caves...More

If you are determined to visit all the caves then it is worth. Otherwise you can try a 100 rs tip to the security available inside selective caves. But mind you, each picture or a sculpture has its own untold story. We did... More
