Like: architecture of the temple, vast landscape, very traditional. Looks centuries old, well maintained. Dislike: Huge crowd. Note: Men are supposed to enter the temple with a dhothi only. Supposed to remove shirt as well.
It's old but very nice temple with huge covered as well as open area and guarded every where with the police personnel. Unable to find the gold stored in the temple and people are scared to talk about the same.

You can first visit Padmanabha swamy temple, it takes about twenty minutes by car from airport, Darshana closes by 12 and it’s hence preferred to visit the temple first and from there Kovalam beach is around 45 minutes by car though it’s just 15–17 kms . You can visit lighthouse and Kovalam beach and by six start towards Kanyakumari. It’s a long drive though distance is around 80 kms, keep a cool two and half hours at least for this drive
