The architecture which is considered a mix of Kerala and Tamilnadu is a treat to see. Dating back to B.C, this is one of the oldest temple in India. A must visit.

We took a tuktuk to Attukal Temple in the morning around 8 am and there was a beautiful ceremony going on. Very nice positive vibes all around the place. Love it !

The temple is overcrowded in the morning and evening. However, the volunteers and police are regulating the crowd for a good darshan.

One must at least enter a temple! As the big one is not allowed to foreigners, our driver took us to Attukal.

A traditional temple where the diety is believed to give blessings in abundance to the devotees. All your prayers will be heard. A must visit place for Hindu believers.

We visited the temple @ 5 PM and were the first to see the dharshan, Very beautiful divine place to visit spend time for family/couples. Powerful goddess.

No.True devotees (Keralites) will not think of doing any ritual connected with a temple during menses.
