It is close to Mangalore Airport open to pilgrims thru the day. One of the most powerful temple with lots of positive energy. There are rooms to stay in the temple premise.

The temple is just like other temples but yes the route is very good and full of greenery. You have to take the one diversion while comping from Mangalore to Bangalore. And yes it will take another 2 hours to be on the Bangalore back....More

Hi... I have no idea since I m staying in mangalore. But u can call the temple authorities for the details. Rooms are provided for travellers. But not sure how early you need to book.

I din't find any nice family accommodation there. I would suggest, you stay in Mangalore or Udupi and visit the place in a taxi and come back or you can visit some other places on the way too.
