A beautiful beach where the river meets the sea. A bit outside the city of mangalore, accessible by public transport too. The road to the beach runs parallel to the sea and the drive is worth it.

Lots of birds, nice and relaxing. Hope it stays that way. unlike Taneerbhavi and Kaup beaches that are touristy and avoidable.

You need to pass through villages and reaching the beach there will be very few people so its not very safe but yes you can go. Its a place where two rivers meet and enter the sea so water flow will be fast

The beach is the meeting of a river with the sea and so there is some backwater. Some fishermen and water enthusiasts make up the beach population.
