it is worth visiting , unfortunately Govt. does'nt allow you in many places . drive is beautiful. You can see the ruins of kudremukh iron ore mines

We went through a package tour .. so till the place where we were supposed to trek we went by a vehicle .. you need to start early if you wanna come by sunset .. a very long trek indeed ,,, but worth every penny...More

The 22Km trek was fantastic. Initially it was very easy but then it became difficult. Overall all the effort is worth to go to the peak and watch the beaut from the hill top.
