The feel of ancient cave and the peeta inside is great. Need to move inside carefully in half bent posture if the head is to be protected.

The roads up to Datta peetha are not always in good condition but the scenery around is amazing while driving up the hill. Avoid Sundays as it may get crowded

Hi, It is nice place to visit. Please avoid on Sundays because many of the Locals would visit this place. Roads to this temple is very bad. Own transport is preferred. You should drive carefully has it is Mud Roads.

Datta Peeta is a religious place located in the Baba Budangiri Hills and is revered by both Muslim and Hindu Community. One can hire taxi from Chikmagalur to this place. Datta peeta is located inside the natural cave.
