Visited this place for my kid's Aksharabhyasam. Though the pooja is not completely satisfying, the temple is very nice and peaceful. On reaching here early in the morning, we checked-in to the temple rooms (charged 200/- each) for a quick shower (hot water provided by...More

Had a nice darshan, attended temple poojas, and also attended the pooja by His Holiness Sankaracharya of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham at Narasimha vanam. Altogether a divine experience.

Had a peaceful time. The temple had a divine aura. A little stream was flowing nearby and the view was perfect for the tired, restless heart.

Little said the better about this place, as one would rather experience this beauty rather than read about it. If you still haven’t been here, it’s better to pack your bags tonight! Apart from the sanctity of the place, what impresses most is the administration’s...More

People have posted the pics of Vidyashankar temple and Sharda Peetham here. This has caused confusion. There is no Tunga river or fishes at Sringeri Mutt, this location. Pl check and go to Vidyashankar Temple or Sarda Peetham for correct site. Giving low rating so...More

Crazy rush on Sundays. Avoid visiting on public holidays and Sundays. Closed from 2-5pm. The afternoon lunch is supposed to be amazing, missed it though.

Go on a day with no elaborate festivities - check the temple calendar, else a busy day can make Darshan difficult. If you go on a quiet day, you can spend as much time as you wish.
