Ususally, a quiet place on regular days. Crowd swells during Karaga festival. Can be chaotic. Better to avoid during Karaga festival as lot of people gather during the occassion. Just a quick visit to the Temple and later street shopping on Avenue Road will make...More

Very crowded during Karaga festival but very quiet place other days. Very difficult to reach. Many devotees confirm good results on prayers.

The "Kharaga" festival is an annual attraction with scores of people flocking the temple and its nearby streets for a glimpse of the "Kharaga".

Karnataka is famous for KARAGA dance.This temple has the dance.This temple was built by Kampe Gowda ( may be).It has nice architectural designs.It may take around half an hour from KBS.

The flower decorations,followed by chariots of many temple deities is a a fervor pitched ritual.The preparation start a week earlier.The main priest starts his cleansing and prayers.on the appointed day he carries the Goddess on his head and goes dancing around the temple.
