Erstwhile South Parade is Bangalore’s shopping and entertainment hub, along with nearby Brigade Road, Church Street and Commercial Street. Old-timers reminisce fondly about the grand avenue this once was. Many old landmarks have been torn down to make way for characterless glass buildings. The metro running over the road proved to be the proverbial nail in the coffin for MG Road’s beauty. Thankfully, some of the vibe still survives. Walk along and enjoy a few gems that survived the massacre.

Crowded place though but we enjoyed well. Lots of foreign nationals were seen at this place. Too busy and a day well spent in shopping all types of things. Not the best but had lots of choices

Back in old days, people used to visit for its high end shopping complexes. But with malls mushrooming all around Bangalore there is nothing unique with MG road. High density traffic flows through all around the week

A wonderful place to walk - loads of shops and a few restaurants. VERY noisy with traffic. Do NOT even consider jaywalking. But very colourful.

This is one of the more popular places. The landscaping has changed over the years but still the old charm of Bengaluru is retained. A recommended place for any tourist visiting Bengaluru.
