Right in Arabian Sea,Having Historical religious prominence,This is a very good place to visit 100Km from Mangalore. When you are visiting Kollur or Gokarna this place can be covered.Definitely worth a visit.

Yes, you can but you won't be able to enjoy the beach nearby as sea would be voilent during rainy season.
