Went to Murudeswar and Virajapet during October 2018, stayed at RSN Golf resort in Murudeswar and clubmahindra in virajapet. The Shiva statue in Murudeswar near sea shore is awesome. The virajapet is cool and pleasant surrounded by coffee and spice plantations.

Yes! Murudeshwar houses World’s second largest Shiva Statue (almost 123 ft) and is surrounded by a beautiful Gopura and serene beach. Majority of the complexes is owned by RNS group and one can book the stay at the beachfront hotel of RNS.

Nicely landscaped and aesthetically developed pilgrim destination. The statue of Lord Siva is majestic and out of this world.

Nice place to go and have a pleasant stay. I feel the place is completely commercialized and didn't feel the divine.
