Botanical garden is a very beautiful place and a must visit if you are in Srinagar. We were surprised to see a tree having purple leaves and probably it is the most beautiful tree I have ever seen in my life.

It was really amazing to be here in the afternoon with my friends and family. The garden has adequate space to move around. A lake, rose garden and some exotic variety of herbs like lavender, rosemary are some of the attractions here.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Botanical Gardens in Srinagar is a nice garden to visit along with other more famous gardens in Srinagar. We found these gardens to have more open spaces and less crowded than other gardens.
