Typical of so many places in Gujarat, and perhaps other parts of India, the “authorities” in charge decide to only admit REAL Indians who can produce volumes of paperwork and IDs to evidence their Indian-ness and Hindu-ness.
As an Indian who now lives overseas, I was not allowed entry - to simply come, pray to a god who holds everyone as equals, to quietly spend a moment in silence, not trouble anyone or anything!
The attitude of the military guards is disrespectful, rude and totally devoid of any understanding - completely the opposite to the positive values espoused by the temple itself.
No way of speaking to anyone in charge, no phone numbers on google, no direct info anywhere that publishes this temple’s discriminatory and intolerant attitude - my advice: don’t bother making the trip

I booked a taxi in my hotel to visit this place as I understand is beautiful, however no one warned me that foreigners are not allowed, needless to say I was very disappointed. I can understand, they must have their reasons to have this rule, but they need to make foreigners aware so we don't make arraignments just to tur around at the gate, the little I could see looked very nice and clean

Created / built under Brig Eugune, when excavation led to idols being found in vicinity. Volunteers built the temple. It encompasses all faiths/religions.
Visited after a gap of 20 years. Serene and calm.

Situated just off the airport road. Created and manned by the EME.staff.
Made of metal with a flowing architecture reminiscent pf the Bahai temple in Delhi
Surrounded by manicured lawns and well mounted statues of Gods and Goddesses. Large baniyan trees also add to the beauty .
All religious rituals done by soldiers posted in the area.
Well worth a visit. Spend sometime on the benches to absorb the tranquillity.

a very well maintained temple by Indian Army in the heart of Vadodara city. You can visit the temple thru two routes i.e Fatehgunj side and other from Sama (Methodist church/Navrachna school side). There is no entry free. Keep valid ID with you which has to be deposited at gate. There is plenty of parking facility for 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers. Temple is calm and serene. Garden is well maintained. A perfect place to spend the evening. But don't think of playing football or Cricket in garden like visitors do in Kamatibaug (Sayajibaug).
There is heavy rush to the temple during Janmashtmi with queues stretching 1 kms for darshan.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT : Rickshaw or cabs can take you only to the gate of Cantonment. From fatehgunj side then you have to barely walk 200mtrs . From Sama (Methodist church/Navrachna school side) you have to walk 1/2 kms
