A marvel in an arid terrain...Sad that trekking to the backside rocky hill has been stopped. Can spend 2 - 3 hours here. There is a venkateswara zoological park & a science museum in a 5km radius frm here. So travellers can combine these 3...More

We were late for the museum and the English sound and light show was very late at 8pm. We could not see it. It might have warranted a 4 rating otherwise. 20 mins by car from Tirupati. Ok to skip if short of time.

Chandragiri Fort is a historical fort which attracts those who are interested in visiting Archaeological tourists site. This fort was built in the 11th century mostly associated with Vijayanagara Kings . One has to take about one hour ride from Tirupati to reach this place...More

Chandragiri fort is very ancient and attractive to all pilgrims.. Must visit place one can see musical show in the evening.. They will explain the fort history... Everyone can enjoy boating and having museum where we can see king krishnadevarYas used items..

We just went for light and sound show and it was good. Got to know about the history of Chandragiri. Would plan to visit the fort next time.

Nice fort. About 11km from tirupati. Laser show especially at evening is good. The show depicts all the historical background of the the chandragiri fort.nice location. Everyone loves to visit the fort once.
