Vaikuntha Teertham is a holy waterfall, which is linked with Lord Vishnu's incarnation as Lord Rama. Legend has it that the monkeys from Lord Rama's vanara sena saw Vaikuntham here and it was after this that this place came to be known as Vaikuntha Theertham.
