There were a ton of fish and beautiful coral. Drift snorkeling was a unique experience for us and was very easy to do. The current is stronger on some days depending on how windy it is. The key is to walk all the way up...More

This is a drift snorkel and the current carries you through the shallow lagoon. The drift can be moderate to strenuous depending on the strength of the current. The lagoon is really shallow, so if you are a large person you may struggle to not...More

We are avid snorklers and this is by far the best show under water. The coral is amazing, all kinds and colors. And the quantity and types of fish seems limitless. We stayed at the resort right next to the garden so got to be...More

So beautiful. The tour guide, GEORGE, could tell I was a little nervous and swam next to me to guide me through coral. So beautiful!

My husband and I live in Hawaii, so we get a fair amount of good snorkeling opportunities, but the Coral Garden on Taha'a is by far the best! We got to see so many different sea creatures and beautiful coral. It's shallow enough that nearly...More

Possibly the best snorkelling I have ever done. Here's what I wish someone had told me before hand: The drift is in a shallow channel between 2 small islands on the fringing reef. You do not have to be an especially strong swimmer because the...More

This is worth doing twice! After walking along the shore, you drift snorkel back to the where you began. The range of fish and coral is amazing. I saw 2 very different sea snakes, too. A wonderland underwater. No fins. Wear beach shoes to protect...More

This is a very cool place where they are growing a coral garden. The water clarity is PERFECTION. Go at high tide to avoid having to walk on/thru coral. Wish I would have done this every day of my trip. Don't miss it!!

The number and range of fish is amazing. No effort - just float through a wonderland. No fins allowed but there are areas of sandy botyoms whete you can stop and rest if needed. The clams are amazing and we saw some Moray Eels.

I have snorkeled A LOT all over the Caribbean and pacific. This little gem is by far the best I have ever seen! Unspoiled and bursting with the most colorful fish and coral. It is a little precarious to navigate so you may want to...More

We could access it from the Le Taha'a Resort or a cruise boat we were on. If staying on Tahaa, you should be able to find someone to take you there by boat. It is fabulous.

There is no charge for the snorkel, but you may need to hire a guide/boat to get you there if you are not staying at Le Taha'a Island Resort and Spa. If you are looking towards Bora Bora, you will walk on the motu to the... More
