Beautiful example of an Egyptian Christian church, actually two churches as another in the basement. Fabulous stained glass and painted ceiling. Excellent guide who was extremely knowledgeable and happy to share. Note the facilities are basic, so take your own toilet tissue

Several attractions to see here from dinosaurs to illuminated characters. Beautiful gardens - looks great at night - kids will love it.

The heavenly Cathedral was absolutely beautiful inside, beautiful paintings and very peaceful. The guide was very good and explained everything in detail, I'm glad I went!

Around 4pm when I went there and I was alone. So I can take all the pictures I wanted. 😊 There is also one Mosque that you can visit close to this Cathedral. Taxi cost around 30-50 Egyptian pound so do not pay much more... More

Yes. It is open for Muslims. And I went there at 4pm Wednesday. And the Church was not crowded, there were just few tourists. So i took a lot of nice photos.
