It’s quite local to where I’ve an apartment, love the place, the people. Everything you need is there, food, drink, bits of this n that. Great place, great people, just be Street wise like any other place you visi, you’ll love it.

Great place to go to buy souvenirs, but take a guide to help you get the best prices! You will see real Egyptian Life here away from the Resorts and Beaches.

Not many tourists go to El Dahar, unfortunately or luckily. For me and my friends, this was the best experience... away from the loud tourist area (different kind of loud here), and offers the authentic Egyptian style... yet very safe, as Hurghada is probably the...More

A lot of the stuff they were selling was junk, but it was still quite a sight to see. Enjoyed the fruit and veggie market and seeing the people with their carts of everything to sell. A bit dirty but it seemed real and I...More

Worth a visit to see how locals live. There is a very good veg and fruit bazaar - and a big church as beautiful as the mosques.

Yes sheraton street is where you should go for all your shop. The road is a few miles long with all kinds of shops and places to eat. Plenty of fake stuff to buy, my wife bought plenty of bags and I bought tshirts. Remember... More
