must visit place if you are in abidjan. we had local staff to accompany us so had good experience. suggestible to have local person when visit.

I have not been inside the mosque. I am not sure if ladies are allowed inside. But from the outside, it is stunning in the downtown Abidjan. A must see! Free of charge while working in the city. Enjoy your walk!

This mosque was under construction the first time I came to Abidjan in March 2000, and as at September 2015 is still not yet completely finished but is now in use for prayers. It is an impressive building, but best to avoid at prayer time...More
