Boardwalk Hall is a multi-purpose facility located on the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk and features the 141,000-square-foot main arena with a capacity of 14,770 seats as well as the 23,100-square-foot Adrian Phillips Theater with a capacity of 3,200. Constructed in 1929 as the country’s original convention center, for 85 years Boardwalk Hall has dazzled guests and residents of Atlantic City with legendary stage icons such as Elton John, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, and the Beatles. In 2001, a $90-million restoration project was completed to transform the original convention hall into its current state as a modern special events arena capable of hosting concerts, sporting events and family shows. Boardwalk Hall is owned and funded by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA). Spectra by Comcast Spectacor provides both Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Boardwalk Hall.

The Boardwalk was a great place to spend the day. The tram was the best way to see the entire seven miles. The driver was very informative and made our day fun.

Went there for a concert and it was a good venue. Lots of space and the seats were good. The sound system was on point!

Typically woman’s bathroom lines go fairly quick. This place just does not have enough Ladies room stalls to accommodate a concert. The bathrooms were downright nasty and gross! I don’t believe they are cleaned throughout the event. Out of tp, paper towels and this was...More

For an established venue with a multitude of events, they clearly fall short in organization and efficiency. Parking is not automated nor adequate. Lots closed without sufficient notice to explore other options without being up against the closed gate. No signs where to buy tickets...More

I am not aware of specific parking for Boardwalk Hall but you can park at Caesar’s which is nearby and has ample parking. It is a short walk on the boardwalk

The closer the better but I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are amazing and there are no columns or barriers to block your view. Enjoy!

I've only been here for the organ performance, but as with any hall stay away from any boundaries like the walls and especially the corners where bass can build up and make performances hard to hear.
