We did the “sip and stroll” tour and while our guide was very nice and the tour has a ton of potential, I was overall disappointed with our experience. I expected to have the opportunity to sample some beers, cocktails and check out local establishments - turns out that two of the three included sipping/ drink pairing ended up being cans of wine and hard seltzer from our tour guides backpack. The third was a splash of rum added to fast food lemonade (it was tasty though!). We walked by interesting Biergartens, bars, distilleries - so much Asbury has to offer, but didn’t step foot in any of them. Regarding food, we had some delicious pizza, a taco and some fast food Mediterranean rice and chicken which wasn’t bad, but I left feeling like this wasn’t the best of Asbury. Drinks aside, I was hoping to leave at a minimum more educated on the town, the history but that was missing as well. In hindsight, I could probably have yelped a few spots and done my own tour - I didn’t feel like I got anything more than what I could map out myself after 8-12 minutes of research, and I would bake in more fun spots with actual local drinks to “sip”.

Thank you for your opinion on our tour. Just to explain a little more. Half of your group left the tour mid way through to go to a bar, not giving us an opportunity to give you the full experience. We do not offer this as a bar crawl. The tour is advertised with three drink pairings. One of those is from our local brewery, another one is a trendy seltzer or wine, and the Lebanese mojito is homemade (not store bought lemonade) .We also do go to a Distillery but since you decided to do your own thing in the middle of the tour, you never got to experience our full tour. We have been researching Asbury for many years now and offer a ton of history about the city and the restaurants. I thought that we already addressed your concerns through our private emails when you reached out. I always appreciate honest feedback, but as two people working hard to run the best business possible, I do not appreciate a review that is simply untrue. Thank you.

We did the bike tour for my daughter’s bachelorette weekend in Asbury. Bonnie was our tour guide and her stops were spot on for our group! We started with pizza and amazing homemade mozzarella appetizers at Porta Pizza. Moved on to the rooftop bar of Watermark for a cocktail, dessert at Convections of a Rockstar and a final stop at the Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten. Bonnie took pictures all along the way and sent them to us right away. Be sure to go hungry!

I cannot say enough positive things about this business and the Bikes, Booze and Bikes food tour. I booked this for my best friend's bachelorette party. It was an absolute blast. Bonnie was responsive from the very beginning. She made sure the day was special for the bride, she tended to our every need, took tons of pictures so that we could remember our day and was an all around informative and fun tour guide! Our bike driver Francesca was so fun. She played amazing music and made sure we kept the party going even when we were peddling our butts off! The food and drink options were awesome and we got to see a lot of Asbury. I highly recommend using this tour company!

We did pur tour with Justin a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic! He was fun and energetic. I felt like he took us to some places in Asbury Park that we wouldn't have known to look for and the food was DELICIOUS! I was very impressed by the amount of food and beverages we got during the tour. We didn't need to eat dinner after! I very much recommend!

The Sip and Stroll Tour was such a great way to experience Asbury Park! I took this tour with my husband, daughter, and her wife and we had a blast eating and drinking our way through the city with our guide, Justin. The food was yummy and plentiful. We were so pleasantly full that we took the last tasting home in a little pink box. Justin entertained us with information about the eateries, the town and stories including one about the legendary Bruce S…. ( don’t want to give it away) The 3 hours went by quickly. Even though we don’t live close by, we all want to come back soon! Thanks, Justin, for a great afternoon!

Thank you Bonnie and our fellow tour guests for a delightfully tasty afternoon in asbury park. Three hours flew by with 7 or 8 substantial tastings of tremendous variety mixed up with strolling through the gentrification of asbury park mixed with fascinating points of interest and history including Springsteen trivia. Run do not walk to sign up for the next tour. Enjoy Bonnie’s enthusiasm and appreciation for asbury parks rebirth - splendid all for the cost of a decent meal!

Had an excellent tour today. So wonderful to learn about several excellent locations. Very friendly and helpful tour guide. And plenty of very good food with a nice variety. We were so full when we finished!

I first contacted Taste of Asbury in August 2018 about setting up a Fall fundraising event for the One Catalyst Foundation. Over the next several months I worked closely with Bonnie who promptly answered every question I asked and provided guidance and recommendations as we customized a food tour for a large group.
On the day of the event, Bonnie and her team handled the 75+ participants with ease. Not only did our attendees enjoy the 5 stops along the tour, but they praised the tour guides who accompanied each group as friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. Taste of Asbury consistently went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success.
I’d highly recommend a tour with this company for a unique way to taste some of the best food Asbury Park has to offer. Our group included several locals as well as people experiencing Asbury for the first time, but regardless of their familiarity with the area, all enjoyed the time spent with new and old friends eating delicious food.

Well would like too thank Bonnie and Justin the owners of this wonderful food and drink tour in which they combined with Asbury Pedalcycle.We started at the Biergarten where the 9 of us sat and had a choice of a large variety of craft and bottled beers.We were served large pretzels and potato pancakes which were delicious.After about 45 minutes we headed out and started our tour on our 15 seated pedal bicycle with our bike guide Jesse who was a lot of fun.With some great tunes blasting we headed to our next stop which was a donut shop named Purple glaze.We were served a different variety of the most delicious donuts.Back on Bike to a pizza place called Porta in which we all had our own personal pizzas which were pretty big and really good.Again choice of beer or wine.Next stop was a bakery called Confections of a Rock Star in which we were offered our choice of any cupcake of your choice.Again delicious.Our last stop was to the local distillery.The AsburyPark Distillery is a small place wth a bar with views looking right into the distillery where all the good stuff comes from.We were given a short tour and then were given a taste of their Vodka and Gin which were both smooth.We then we’re able to chose a drink of our choice.They had some really interesting choices.With all this being said I highly recommend this tour.Bonnie was fantastic and as you go into each establishment she gives you a brief history of them all.The bike ride through the streets of Asbury Park were fun and we were greeted with a lot of enthusiasm from the onlookers.So give Bonnie a call and let her set you up for what was a great day.

What a fantastic time! Spent the day with friends pedaling around Asbury. We enjoyed the sights, had delicious food (LOTS of food) at the local businesses as well as drinks. Bonnie and Justin were extremely knowledgeable about the town of Asbury. They were so much fun to be with! They took care of everything and made the day so enjoyable! Jesse our “pilot” for the pedal bike was awesome as well! He made sure we had great music and lots of laughs! Music, food, drinks and great friends! Highly recommend this tour as a “must” to experience in Asbury. Book it and enjoy!
