Unfortunately we didn't get the pure barefoot experience but I love the objective of the park. A place to reconnect with nature and just unplug for a little while.

Add this to your list — you can stay 15 minutes or all day. It’s really lovely and zen...very calming after a day in the busy city.

We headed over to check out the water museum, Barefoot Park, and the architecture surrounding it. It was the perfect afternoon. Barefoot Park is a true testimony to how Medellin encourages it's locals to hang outside and be one with nature. Several feet dipping pools,...More

Because it will be more animated....the second time I went it was noon on a Friday...there was a small farmer's market and lots of kids playing...plus all the restaurants were busy with the lunch crowd from the beautiful EPM building. Not the easiest place to...More

The place, the trees, the water sound around, the sand to massage the feet, ideal place to breath and a pause after a long walking, or after visit the museums around, have an ice cream, or snacks.

We went to the park today and we loved it. I had read the reviews and some people said it was boring. I was trying to decide whether or not to go and then I decided that a Zen Park should be boring (even though...More

Just a small park to take a bite and relax while you wait for the EPM "Water Museum". Kids love to be bared foot and play around.

Even if you are going somewhere near there, do not waste your time. Medellin has many other better attractions to see. Now, I do not recommend going there except if you are planing a picnic or have litlle kids that need an open place to...More

This is a park where you can test your senses by walking barefoot thru various mediums - sand, earth, water. It is really nothing special - especially in the pouring rain!!! There are cafes and restaurants there as well as toilets!
