This enormous construction must be seen, the interior is vast without any column. The stained glass windows are fabulous and all in length leaving a hue in this large inner room, a gigantic sculpture in the back of the magnificent altar.

The cathedral of Barranquilla is big enough, but it does not offer much in mean of architecture or art.

The church was closed at the visit time around 12:30 PM. A will like to said that church should be open at least all day long on Sunday for people who like to visit The Santisimo

In the middle of the city, you will find this huge structure, this is the center of the faith in Barranquilla.

I like the way it was set up at night. The mall is right across it so you could do several things at the same time and stop by the Catedral when you are done at the mall.
