Amazing history and such a peaceful place. If you dont understand Manadarin do get an english speaking guide for 50RMB. The information that you learn is unbelievable.

Cheng du is good for tourist to visit. Every attraction offers transport to go other places. The view was great and will visit it again if I have chance.

It's worth a visit to Du Fu Cottage and even on a rainy day, just loved hearing his history from our guide. Gardens are worth the visit.

Apparently DuFu spent 5 years here in this restored and remodeled hut where he reportedly wrote over 1000 poems. Around the hut is a large, peaceful park with walkways, creeks, and manicured lawns
