Very China style road. Seem like an old town in the city. A few steamboat restaurant along the road. The outlook design of the shops here are special.

I had a very great evening watching Sichuan opera at Shufeng Ya Yun in Qintai Road. The most famous Sichuan Opera operator, I am very satisfied with the almost 90 minutes of various performances and plays regarding Sichuan lore (I especially loved the puppetmaster and...More

Chinese opera, several wonderful parks, great restaurants, and specialized upscale shopping are all easily found here. My favorite place to stay in Chengdu.

Sterile, uninteresting collection of tourist traps. I've walked through here a dozen times on the way to the Culture park and Baihuatan park and have never seen anything interesting. There is, however, a nice foot massage place (Fu Qiao) at the northwest corner.

I say it's an important street to know. Not for shopping because let's face it, nobody comes to this street to buy expensive jewellery or traditional Chinese clothes. People come here because it is THE road to know to get you to the nearby touristic...More
