We found this almost by accident when visiting the shopping villageand were really impressed. It is a beautifully maintained, tranquil place in the heart of the city and had a more spiritual ambience than many of the temples we’d been taken to as part of...More

Although the temple is squeezed in between highrise buildings and a shopping centre it has still retained it's tranquil atmosphere.

Near the Temple House hotel. Beautiful little temple complex gearing up for the Chinese New Year celebrations. You don't need more than about 15 minutes, but if you're in the area, it's worth having a look.

A lot of it is cordoned off right now but even without this the interior is not that interesting compared to other options around. The exterior is more interesting, particularly the juxtaposition of it and TaiKooLi shopping area next to it - works very well

Visited here at noon. Very nicely kept and obviously still being restored. Beautiful interior worship areas. The contiguous restaurant had a long line of locals carrying their own bowls and chopsticks. The building workmanship is really well done.

This small temple is in the middle of the city centre, surrounded by shopping malls, boutiques and restaurants. It's got a beautiful seating Buddha and you can get a real taste of ancient China right in the middle of a highly populated modern city

Take a break from shopping at Tai Koo Li, and come see this beautiful temple. Whether or not you are a Buddhist, it is worth walking through the prayer halls and taking a moment to reflect on the beautiful architecture that is the Daci Temple.

Compared to most Chinese Temples this is quite basic... but it is conveniently located near to lots of shops and restaurants. If you happen to be nearby then definitely pop in... but don't build a day around it!

Went to look at Tai Koo Li shops and was surprised to discover this temple nearby. Some interesting buildings and has a tea house.
