We loved this park (garden) as it has some old pagodas and old shirnes. There's also a pavilion devoted to Xue Tao, a Tang poetess. Lots of Chinese ladies have their pictures taken in traditional outfits here so you will get the change to take...More

We happened upon this area as we got off the bus and were headed to a restaurant. We stopped as it was by the river and walked around for a while. It was very peaceful as we had just come back from Jinli.

This is a great park to visit which predominantly honours the Tang Dynasty poet Xue Tao. The bamboo arch sets the scene and the Chongli pavilion is the main attraction. We watched some elderly citizens twirling sticks/batterns with great skill and finished off with Tea.

Popped in for an hour and had a look around. Lots of good photo ops. Went when raining slightly so not at all busy. Nice bamboo.

This park is excellent for a quiet relaxing walk. There is plenty to see as well as ample shade provided by all of the bamboo. The price of admission is reasonable at 20 RMB per adult and our 6 year old was free.

This riverside park is absolutely lovely. The bamboo groves are so impressive and provide nice cool shade when it's hot outside. Lots of local people come here to relax, exercise, sing, dance and play mah jong. Our Chinese guide (Malair) took us to the tea...More
