A pleasant thing to do in early evening. Once we found the way up it was lovely to be able to see the city from above. Passport is needed to get the free ticket to he walls.

Great structure but redone recently so looks a bit new. Must have been great in its heyday. there is a moat round the whole structure which is pretty impressive

This impressive wall was built on 1372 , Ming Dynasty, on older walls . 7 km long and 14 meters high . 4 main gates and 46 watchtowers. Best view at sunrise .
