This park is huge! And has a wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed getting lost in the streets at the bottom of the mountain that was more like a Forrest. Afterwards we went up the cable car and were not disappointed with the ancient temples and views...More

Multiple stone carving within and sadly, many had been defaces during the "Cultural Revolution". A friend paid for the newly-wed couple to bang the large gong 3 times; 1 for good fortune, 1 for good health and the third for long life. Very cool sound!

Great mountain, and it really is a mountain. You could spend hours walking up and down and visiting the numerous temples. Each temple is for a different Buddah... Not being from the religion, I cannot go into more details, but It really is a must...More

We were dropped off at the SW entrance, and climbed the top of the hill. The trail was rocky and steep, but there were rest areas along the way. The 360 degree view of Jinan was amazing! We then descended to the NE (toward the...More

If anything, 1000 is an underestimate rather than exaggeration of the number of Buddha statues on the mountain, if you include all the tiny ones as well as the huge. We spent a very enjoyable few hours here. We walked up, although there was a...More

I visited here yesterday and I loved it! I was able to walk from my hotel (about a 30-40 minute walk) and enter through a gate at the north of the mountain, although I believe that there are plenty of buses that stop outside as...More

This is a very interesting place to visit. The area is pretty big but not all of the things really deserve a visit especially when you are supposed to climb up and down hundreds of stairs. For those like me who live in China, it...More

If you really want to walk, just go up to this magic mountain and enjoy these wonderful monuments. There is a beautiful temple. You can up by funicular. It's a great option if you are in Jinan.
