We certainly enjoyed the boat tour and the views of the old City. Outstanding and well worth the time spent. We also walked along some of the adjacent shopping streets and visited some of the small food stores.
Nice snack/shops walk along the river.
You can take a boat for a quick 20minutes-ride at 150rmb for 4 people. The lady sang a little bit for 1minute... still funny to experiment.

Wonderful experience walking through this Ancient Town, with many local merchandises, silk works, and there is canal that runs along the whole town. It was clean and not many tourists yet when we were there.
